The AMPROBE A-1000 allows a normal average value measuring digital multimeter to measure the true RMS of a current and enables to mirror the wave form with an oscilloscope.

The AMROBE A-1000 is designed for the use with digital multimeters, printers, oscilloscopes etc., for exact and reliable measurement of AC and DC currents with complex, distorted wave forms. The A -1000 transduces the measured current in a DC voltage using a transducer that exports the True RMS value as DC volt. The "True RMS current" is very important because of its proportion to the value of the lost heat - in grid-type networks, transformers, system-couplings or load changes.
